Ok guys, I will be the first to admit that I am OBSESSED with monograms. I always have been. Ever since I was little I have had everything monogrammed, my backpacks, my bags, my dresses, my stationary, and even MY BOWS. (Bows were my other obsession as a child.)
So why does everyone love it so much? Is it a southern thing? Who knows. But now as I look back on it, it’s a good way to express yourself. Monogram font can tell you a lot about a person. Are they whimsical or more classic? Monograms can spruce up any type of bag and make it all your own! As I was scrolling through Pinterest (yet another obsession of mine…) I came across a chart with some different fonts I hadn’t seen in a while. Check it out! Maybe you could use it for your next bag? Anna Lee I love monogramming all of my items! I never had it when I was little, mostly because my parents are both Yankee's. So to answer your question yes it IS a southern thing! But I just can't get enough of it.
ReplyDeleteOh girl, we must have been separated at birth! I grew up in a household where if it didn't have your monogram on it, it wasn't *your's*. I'm so happy that I grew up liking monograms, because I think they are so cute, and its always fun to see something so plain turn into something adorable, just because of a monogram!
