This week I decided to read, “Spain or Shine” about a girl named Elena that goes to study abroad in Spain for 3 months to get out of the spotlight of her two overachieving siblings. As she gets there, she meets a nice host family, whom she will be staying with for the three months. But as she gets off the plane she feels a little homesick and wonders if this is the right thing she should be doing.
I really like the way the book is written. There are no long and big words, just stuff normal teenagers would understand. But the beginning of the book was very slow. It took about two chapters until the author even got to the point where Elena was getting onto the plane to head to Spain. But all in all it’s a good book for a teenage girl!

ReplyDeleteThis book sounds veary unique, I also hope she did the right thing by getting on the plane. It does sound like a good book for a teenage girl.
