Social media is a great way to connect with friends and celebrity’s but has it become a distraction? Kids can’t even go a day without going on Facebook, twitter, or any other website. I’ll be the first to admit that I’m one of those kids…and it’s become problem.
Whenever I’m writing a paper or doing homework I get so distracted that I’ll go on Facebook, twitter, or even pinterest and it just lengthens my homework time. So is social media to blame? Or do we just get distracted easily? Now, that I’ve realized it’s a problem I ASK my mom to take away my laptop and phone so I can focus on my homework.
Pesonally, i agree with your post because alot of times when i am doing my homework i will flick on to Facebook and 30 minutes late i will finnally start agian
ReplyDeleteAnna Lee, I have the same problem as you! I will get home and open my laptop to start my homework at like 5, and wont *actually* start until 7, and then I am up until 11 because I am swamped with homework that would have been done earlier, had I not procrastinated!
ReplyDeleteAnna Lee and Victoria, try turning off your wireless connection after you've brought up your assignments. I promise, it makes a big difference!
